A Brand is Born

Contemplating the albatross of the Kerguelen in flight gives Baudelaire’s second poem in his collection Les fleurs du mal its full meaning. There is a deep need in man to rise up, to imagine and to dream in order to be alive. It was from this inspiration and strong aesthetic desire that L’Albatrôs Paris was born. Driven by its affinity with wood, a living and sublime material, this young jewellery house is dedicated to striving for beauty. In order to do this, each variety of wood is an invitation to adventure and travel, while marquetry provides the link between man and the material, between talent and the life force. This is what L’Albatrôs Paris is striving towards; to create wonder, to carry every individual towards this dream and to share the feeling of completeness which stirs inside us in the face of beauty.
