The box tree

Used in marquetry since the beginning of this craft, the box tree is valued for its distinctive yellow colour. It is a wood on which the passing of time and the environment have little effect and which therefore offers high quality properties.

The box tree is a symbol of immortality due to its slow growth, its evergreen leaves and its longevity.
